What we collect

When you use Drafted, we collect the information you provide in the form you submit: your name, email address, LinkedIn URL, resume, target roles and companies, compensation range, location, remote preference, security clearance level, and any free-text notes about your background and preferences.

We also collect your payment information through our payment processor, Stripe. We never see or store your credit card number.

How we use it

We use your information exclusively to build your application packages: matching roles to your profile, tailoring your resume, writing cover letters, researching hiring contacts, and drafting outreach messages. We may use AI language models (such as Anthropic's Claude) to assist with generating these materials.

We use your email address to deliver your packages and communicate about your order.

How we store it

Your data is stored in Supabase (hosted in the United States) with encryption at rest. Resume files are stored in private, encrypted storage buckets accessible only via time-limited signed URLs.

Who has access

Only the Drafted operator (the person fulfilling your packages) has access to your data. We do not sell, share, or provide your information to any third party except the service providers necessary to operate: Supabase (database and file hosting), Resend (transactional email), Stripe (payment processing), Microsoft Clarity (privacy-masked session analytics — see Cookies below), and AI model providers used for package generation.

Data retention

We retain your data for 90 days after your final package delivery. After that, we delete your resume, cover letters, and personal details from our systems. Order metadata (plan type, dates, payment amount) is retained for accounting purposes.

You can request deletion of all your data at any time by emailing hello@drafted.careers.

What we never do

We never submit job applications on your behalf. We never share your resume or personal information with employers, recruiters, or any third party without your explicit consent. We never use your data for advertising.

Cookies

This site uses Microsoft Clarity for session analytics — it records page interactions (clicks, scrolling, where visitors get stuck) so we can improve the experience, with all form inputs and personal details masked in your browser before anything is sent. Clarity sets first-party cookies to recognize a session. We also use the Meta pixel to measure how our ads perform. Vercel may collect anonymized performance metrics (page load times, web vitals) to operate the hosting infrastructure.
